Hi, I'm Andy.

I grew up in a small town in Ohio. Hocking Hills was where we went, all the time, my whole life, and for a while it's where I lived.

Now I live in Medellín. How that happened is a longer story.

Nobody taught me to build any of this. I'd need something to exist, it wouldn't, so I'd figure out the servers, the DNS, the databases, whatever it took. That's still pretty much the whole method.

Scout Theory is the company it all runs under. Some of it makes money. Some of it's free on purpose. Some of it I'm still figuring out what it is.

A few of the free ones came out of my own fights. I've taken a federal agency to court without a lawyer, and I learned the process the hard way. So I built Court Yourself, FOIA Filer and ECF PDF, so the next person doesn't start from zero.

I studied linguistics for a minute. Now I teach free English classes in Medellín, which might be what it was for. I teach free AI classes too.

I also build websites for local businesses through WebMedellin, free tools for them like Venta Ya and Pymes Medellín, and lately websites for parishes, one at a time.

I also manage urban music artists here, through El Mero Mero.
